Treatments Offered

Wisdom Tooth Removal

Wisdom tooth removal is commonly recommended when these teeth grow at an angle, become impacted, or fail to erupt properly. These issues can lead to pain, swelling, crowding of nearby teeth, and sometimes even infections. The procedure involves a thorough dental examination using X-rays to assess the position of the teeth. Depending on the complexity, a simple extraction or a surgical removal may be required. Local anesthesia is usually administered to numb the area, and after the tooth is removed, proper instructions are given for aftercare. Recovery generally takes a few days, and patients are advised on how to manage discomfort and ensure smooth healing.

Root Canal Treatment

Infection or inflammation in the pulp, the tooth’s innermost structure, can be treated with a root canal. This condition can cause pain, swelling, or even lead to tooth loss if left untreated. The infected pulp is removed, the inside of the tooth is disinfected and shaped, and a filling material is applied to seal the tooth. In order to save the tooth and restore its function, a crown is frequently inserted afterwards.

In many cases, the whole treatment can be completed in a single visit, known as single sitting RCT. This is possible when the infection is localized and there are no complications. Single sitting treatment helps reduce the number of visits and offers faster relief.

Gum Treatment

Gum treatment focuses on managing issues like gum inflammation, bleeding, and infection, common signs of conditions such as gingivitis and periodontitis. In the early stages, a deep cleaning procedure, which includes scaling and root planing, is used to remove plaque and tartar from beneath the gums. This helps reduce inflammation and supports gum healing. If the condition is more advanced, minor surgical procedures may be necessary to clean infected areas and promote recovery. Consistent follow-up care and proper at-home oral hygiene are important to keep gums healthy and prevent future problems.

Braces Treatment

Braces are orthodontic devices used to correct tooth alignment, bite issues, and jaw positioning. They work by applying steady pressure over time to move teeth into a better position. The process begins with diagnostic assessments such as X-rays and impressions, followed by the design and application of the braces. Metal brackets and wires are the traditional choice, though ceramic and other options are available. Patients typically visit the clinic every few weeks for adjustments. The duration of treatment varies based on the complexity of the case and may last anywhere from several months to a few years.

Invisalign

Invisalign is a modern orthodontic option that uses a sequence of transparent, removable trays to guide teeth into better alignment. Unlike traditional braces, these trays do not have metal wires or brackets and can be taken out during meals or when brushing. They are best suited for individuals with mild to moderate alignment issues. Each tray is worn for a set period before progressing to the next, allowing gradual movement of the teeth. The duration of treatment can vary, often lasting several months to over a year depending on the case. Success with Invisalign depends heavily on wearing the trays as instructed, typically for most hours of the day.

Digital Smile Designing

Digital Smile Designing is a planning tool that uses digital technology to visualize changes in a person’s smile before actual treatment begins. It involves taking photographs, videos, and scans of the patient’s face and teeth. Using software, the dentist simulates possible outcomes for various cosmetic procedures like veneers, crowns, or whitening. This approach helps both the dentist and the patient agree on the desired look, ensuring that the results align with facial aesthetics and personal preferences. It also allows for better precision and predictability during treatment.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is a cosmetic dental procedure whose motive is reducing discoloration and stains on teeth, resulting in a brighter smile. Discoloration can be caused by aging, certain foods and drinks, tobacco use, or poor oral hygiene. Whitening can be done using in-clinic procedures that involve the application of a bleaching agent under professional supervision, often activated by a special light. Alternatively, custom take-home kits with dentist-approved gels may be provided. The effect of whitening varies based on the original shade and cause of staining, and results typically last several months with proper care.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are used to replace missing teeth with an artificial option that closely mimics natural ones. The process involves placing a small metal post, often made from titanium, into the jawbone where the tooth is missing. This post serves as a foundation for attaching a replacement tooth. After placement, the area is allowed to heal over a period of time so the bone can firmly anchor the implant. Once healing is complete, a custom-made crown or bridge is fixed to the post. They help restore the ability to chew, improve speech, and maintain the shape of the face by preventing bone loss in the jaw. This solution is designed to be long-lasting and feels similar to a real tooth.

Crown & Bridge

Dental restorations like crowns and bridges are used to repair damaged or missing teeth and restore their look. A crown is a cap placed over a weakened or decayed tooth to protect it and improve its shape. A bridge, on the other hand, fills the gap left by one or more missing teeth and is anchored to adjacent natural teeth or implants. The process involves reshaping the supporting teeth, taking impressions, and placing the final restoration after it is custom-fabricated.

Dentures

Dentures are prosthetic devices used to replace missing teeth and the surrounding gum tissue. They come in full or partial forms, depending on whether all or some teeth are missing. Dentures are made from acrylic or other materials and are molded to fit snugly within the mouth. The fitting process involves multiple visits for impressions, trials, and final adjustments. Proper cleaning and maintenance are essential to ensure comfort and avoid oral health issues. Dentures help improve speech, chewing ability, and appearance.

Full Mouth Rehabilitation

Full mouth rehabilitation is a detailed treatment approach that involves rebuilding or restoring all teeth in the upper and lower jaws. This is often necessary for patients with severe tooth wear, multiple missing teeth, chronic pain from jaw misalignment, or widespread dental damage. The plan may include a combination of crowns, bridges, implants, veneers, and periodontal care. A thorough examination, diagnostic imaging, and treatment planning are crucial to ensure functional and aesthetic restoration. This treatment significantly enhances oral health and quality of life.

Scaling & Polishing

Scaling and polishing is a preventive procedure aimed at cleaning teeth thoroughly by removing plaque, tartar, and surface stains. Scaling targets deposits around the gum line and between teeth using manual or ultrasonic instruments. Polishing smooths the enamel surface, making it more resistant to plaque buildup. This procedure not only improves the appearance of teeth but also helps in preventing gum disease and maintaining fresh breath. It is generally recommended every six months as part of routine dental care.

Kids Dentistry

Pediatric dentistry targets the oral health of children from infancy to adolescence. It includes preventive care like fluoride applications, sealants, and regular checkups, as well as treatments such as fillings, extractions, and orthodontic assessments. Children may also benefit from guidance on proper brushing and dietary habits. Special attention is given to creating a comfortable environment for young patients. Techniques such as nitrous oxide sedation are often used for children who are anxious or require longer procedures, ensuring a positive dental experience.

Bad Breath Treatment

Bad breath can stem from a variety of causes, including poor oral hygiene, gum disease, dry mouth, certain foods, or underlying medical conditions. Diagnosis begins with a thorough dental examination to check for plaque, tartar, and gum issues. Treatment may include professional cleaning, instruction in proper oral hygiene techniques, tongue cleaning, and treatment of any infections. Drinking more water, adjusting diet, and using mouth rinses may also be recommended. Identifying and addressing the root cause is key to long-term management.

Cavity Filling

Cavity filling is a restorative procedure used to treat tooth decay and prevent further damage. Once the decayed part is removed, the cavity is cleaned and filled with a suitable material, such as composite resin, amalgam, or ceramic. The choice of material depends on where the cavity is and aesthetic preferences. Fillings restore the tooth’s shape and function, and modern materials closely match the natural color of teeth. Regular checkups can help detect cavities early and reduce the need for more extensive treatment.

Zoom Whitening

Zoom whitening is a professional tooth whitening system that uses a special light-activated gel to whiten teeth quickly and effectively. The procedure begins with protecting the gums and applying the whitening gel to the teeth. A special LED light is then used to activate the gel, breaking down stains and discoloration. The session usually lasts about 45 minutes to an hour and can brighten teeth. It is commonly chosen for special occasions or when quick results are desired. Sensitivity may occur temporarily after the procedure.

TMD (Temporomandibular Disorders)

Temporomandibular disorders refer to problems related to the jaw joint (TMJ) and surrounding muscles. Symptoms may include pain or tenderness in the jaw, problems in opening or closing the mouth, clicking or popping sounds, headaches, and facial pain. Causes can range from teeth grinding and stress to arthritis or jaw injuries. Treatment includes a combination of lifestyle changes, physical therapy, splints or mouthguards, and medications to reduce pain and inflammation. Early diagnosis and management can prevent further discomfort and joint damage.
